70, died April 29, 2017

Judi was born in Lyonsdale, New York to the late Gladys and Joseph Barna. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, and graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan West High School in 1964. Judi was employed as a quality control technician at American Hoechst in Bridgewater for over 25 years and later at Lowes in Hillsborough for 14 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater. In her spare time, Judi enjoyed reading, gardening, and caring for her cats, whom she especially loved. She had a free spirit, generous heart, and vivacious laugh. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

She is predeceased by her brother Kenneth Barna.

Surviving are her brothers Joseph, Dennis and Douglas Barna and his wife Maryanne, her sisters, Joan LaRue and her husband Daniel and Carol Stauder and her husband Frederick, a sister-in-law Jean Barna and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
