Martha S. Fetzko
89, died November 4, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center with her loving family at her side.
Martha was born in Maytown, PA on September 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Alice Snyder. She had been a resident of Bridgewater for over 50 years. She was employed as a secretary for O.K. Snyder Insurance Agency and GSA. She also worked for RCA in Bridgewater and for Ortho Pharmaceutical for over 21 years, where she was very active with a group of retirees, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and a devoted charter member for over 50 years at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Somerville. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Andrew who died in 1994 and a sister Sarah Patrylow and brother Arthur Snyder.
Surviving are a daughter Suzanne Yarus and her husband George, two sons, Allen and Curtis, a sister Helen Bathory, 2 grandsons, Daniel and Cory and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 300 Union Ave. Somerville. Arrangements are by Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N.Gaston Ave. Somerville, 908-725-3111.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
