Margaret "Peggy" Carr
Died on October 25, 2099 of an aggressive brain tumor at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Succasunna, NJ.
Born April 28, 1939, in Jersey City, NJ, she married Hugh J. Carr Jr. in 1961. They lived in Hudson County before moving to Landing NJ in 1969. Peggy was a Sales Manager for various employment agencies including The Consortium in Netcong and Eagle Services in Piscataway, among others. More recently she was a sales vendor for various fragrance companies at Lord & Taylor, Macy's and Bloomingdales. Peggy was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Hugh and daughters Heather Diatz and Laurel Collins, as well as loving sons in law and grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held in the future. Arrangements are by Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N.Gaston Ave. Somerville 908-725-3111.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you raise a glass in her honor, and toast this vibrant and dynamic woman.
