88, died October 11, 2009.

Evelyn was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Fort Lee. She was formerly of Old Bridge and Toms River before moving to Somerville in 2008. She was employed as an luncheon manager for Kresges Department Store in Parlin for over 15 years, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of St Maximilian Kolbe Church in Toms River where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Evelyn enjoyed reading, and especially traveling with her husband Bill. Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is predeceased by a sister Edna Kiefer who died in 1993.

Surviving is her husband of 62 years William J. "Bill", daughter Carol L. Brady and her husband Granville, two sons, William F. and his wife Gail, Kevin and his wife Shari and five grandchildren Matthew, Erin, Tara, Kerri, and Harrison and 3 great grandchildren.

Prayers will be said 9am Friday at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 North Gaston Ave., Somerville, followed by a 10am Mass of Christan Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave. Somerville. Interment will follow at General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.

Visitation will be on 2-4pm & 7-9 Thursday at the Funeral Home.
